Margherita is a true Italian beauty. I had the privilege to help Margherita plan her wedding to Damion and it was a wonderful day. Both ceremony and reception took place at The Handlery Resort on a warm and sunny day in March.
Her bouquet was a gorgeous combination of cream, green and violet pink roses and hydrangeas by Tessfresh Flowers. Note the handle wrapped in lace and the beautiful brooch.
Escort cards were all handmade by Margherita’s crafty bridesmaids with purple and lime green card stock. Each card had a flower in different colors that indicated the entree selection.
Amber lighting in the ballroom created a marvelous ambiance, and the monogram gobo by extraordinary DJ Daniel Peterson (who entertained the crowd all night!) was a great focal point.
What a spectacular cake by Grove Pastry Shop! Decorated in the wedding colors, it featured an intricate lace design that matched Margherita’s bouquet and a dark plum ribbon.
Favors (or bomboniere, as we call them in Italy) were a true work of art: perfumed sachets ordered from Italy and wrapped in purple silk with a delicate bloom and a personalized tag for each guest.
Thanks to the marvelous DeShun and Yasmine of Dapper Images for the images!!!
You can see more pictures from Margherita and Damion’s wedding on my website, and read thank-you notes on my Fan Mail Blog.
Congratulations to Margherita and Damion, and best wishes for a happy life together!
