This week I am working on a dessert table for a photo shoot that will be featured in the 2013 edition of Ceremony Magazine. I can’t share the details yet but stay tuned for more information!
In the meantime, here is this year’s feature in the San Diego issue: Sweet Dreams.
The initial concept was born from a stunning headboard from Melissa at Pow Wow Vintage Rentals. As soon as I saw it I fell in love! I designed the entire dessert table around it. A Perfect Table provided ethereal linens in melon and satin green, I made small pillows in gold and blush satin and used them to display the desserts, and Dawn with Embellishmint made irresistible floral arrangements in a matching color palette. The setting? The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, ideal for this theme.
The sweets included a fabulous two-tiered cake and guava cookies by Sweet Cheeks Baking Company, petit fours and eclairs by Euro Pastry, cookies and cake pops by Grove Pastry Shop. A mix of candy including jelly beans and ice cream shots completed the look, and Dapper Images made the table come alive in the magazine!
