It seems like the word “Dolce” is loved by many people, not only by bakers (think about yummy desserts!) and by us at La Dolce Idea. We all know about Dolce & Gabbana (Italian, like me), but many American companies are now embracing this sweet word to name some of their best sellers. Couldn’t I mention them in my blog?
La Tavola Linen (based in Napa Valley) recently opened a showroom in Beverly Hills. Their extensive inventory of luxury linens includes every color you would dream of, and fabrics ranging from silk to cotton to linen and embroidered overlays. They also carry natural, organic hemp fabrics – recyclable and biodegradable, not like petroleum-based synthetic fibers. Dolce is one of their collections (Viviana in Ruby is pictured here). www.LaTavolaLinen.com
Shoes anyone? Take a look at Bliss Bridal Shoes. Their Dolce model is – of course! – made with Italian leather sole. This elegant strappy sling back is adorned with a pretty satin knot. www.BlissBridalShoes.com
I can never get tired of letterpress invitations, my favorite style. Dolce Press (located in New York) has a beautiful collection that satisfies every discerning bride. I chose a wedding invitation set featuring flourishes in chocolate brown and hot pink printed on luxurious cotton paper. The set includes an invite and RSVP card with matching envelope lined in hot pink and letterpress printed in hot pink ink. Additional pieces such as menu and map can easily be incorporated into the set. Shipping is provided nationwide. http://DolcePress.com
